Spiritual Needs

Your spiritual needs and happiness are as important as your material needs.  Taking time to speak to the God & Goddess is a daily ritual for me and I know you can do the same; it only takes two minutes every morning.  I don’t always have time to light a candle, so I sit quietly and call the names of the Gods or Goddesses that I know will help me.  Having a good relationship with your deities will comfort and nurture you.  Their loving energy can help you to get through the day with safety, joy and hope!

Our dreams are heard by the Gods.  We in turn must never give up our dreams no matter what obstacles are seemingly in our way.  Remember your Majick is powerful!!

I wish you Blessings of Health and Happiness!

Christmas time, a long time ago in the 1940’s

This time of year are rushes of memories!  What stimulates these memories often is the Hallmark channel; I’ve been watching all their seasonal stories.
My mother always surprised me with Santa gifts that only a mother could make.  There was always a doll or something I wanted at the time and every year under the tree was beautiful doll clothes she made.  Once it was an entire wardrobe for my doll, Polly.  Each dress was trimmed in lace or tatting, handmade by my mom.
I don’t always think of the Betsy Wetsy doll, but I do remember the beautiful things my mother made for that doll.
And of course the Lemon Meringue and Chocolate Meringue pies, the big brown steaming turkey, her wonderful dressing and the cranberry sauce she made.
The tree was lit with large light bulbs, some were Santa faces, and she hung tinsel one strand at a time.
It was so cozy to sit looking at the tree the night before Christmas, drinking hot chocolate and wondering what Santa would bring.  The glow of the fireplace and sparkling color of the tree was majickal!
When it was time for bed, I would kiss dad good night as he laid down his pipe and mother would tuck me in the warm covers.  Dad always put hay on the porch for the reindeer to eat and mom placed the cookies and milk for Santa.
I awoke in the morning to the aroma of pancakes, eggs and bacon, but I ran passed the kitchen to the tree always happy and excited for all the wonderful gifts, but mostly I loved the unexpected gifts my mother made.

The Yule Celebration

The Yule celebration was beautiful and fun.  Lots of toys were brought to give to the Salem Children’s hospital.  The hospital relies on the Cabot Witches to help them every year since 1975.

I have to say the food was great, meatballs and pasta and much more comfort food.  The door was dazzling, glittering frosted snowflakes sparkled all over the room and our tree was spectacular.

Ritual was so fulfilling it brought new hope for the coming winter.  Children played and our Cabot family enjoyed each other’s company on the cold winter night.

The candle light reminds us the warmth is coming, the sun will return.

Blessings,

Establishing our Spiritual Integrity

There are days I look upon my image in the mirror and ask “what are you doing with your life?”  I have worked most of my life so that Witches could conquer the “Witch History” of Salem, MA by establishing the true and great path and way of our ancestors, the Witches of Europe.  Has that yet come to be?  Not quite!  Yes, I have established the first federally recognized With Temple in the history of Salem, MA, however we have a great distance to go.

There needs to be a physical place, a building, so that Witches of the World can pilgrimage to reclaim our way of life with dignity, showing that our good actions touched history.  This power force brings light to the world and peaceful transformation.  A place where we can dance with the Gods and Goddess’, a sacred place where we hug, drum, sing and perform ritual; a place to create music, inspire our majick, to communicate with the other worlds, to reenact and recover the passion of our ancestors.  A place to meditate and encounter the holy; a place to be empowered, to give our lives a noble cause.

The very acts of ministry by our priests and priestesses, counseling and performing liturgy ritual, where we sustain civil society.  The Temple doors are open to all our special pagan friends

Our place, where we touch the divine.

Join the Cabot Witches for Our Yule Celebration

I breathe majick!  Every breath releases your prana and it is an opportunity to project good things into the Earth.
We need to gather and breathe life and change the conditions on Earth.  We need to help clean air, clean water and we need to help people that are without food and shelter, receive what they need.
When we cast spells together it becomes more powerful.  We also know the more good we do, the more good we receive.
Let’s gather Saturday night, December 17th, and cast a powerful spell that will help us all to get what we need and share that majick with those who do not know how to manifest their world.  The majick doesn’t work if you do not participate.
Our solstice circle will be powerful and comforting that we will be all right.  The Lord and Lady will help us and the world.

Blessed Yule to All!

Reverend Laurie Cabot HPs

Sticking Together

Can you hear the voices of our Ancestors?  Our ancestors are our Gods and Goddesses.

They were silenced for almost 2,000 years.  They lived for us; we are the descendants of our Gods and Goddesses.  The world needs to hear their words and you, as a Witch, need to respect the powerful and good majick they gave to us.

Together we stand, divided we fall!  We as Witches practice in many different ways thru many different traditions, however we should stick together!  We can agree to disagree, but we should all be shoulder to shoulder to defend our path, to protect us from all who still wish Witches ill.  Together we are strong, divided we become weak.  Witches we are here, in this time, in this world, to bring majick back to our cultures.  Our Celtic tribes infused with the engendered majick of our ancestors can make a better world and help those who cannot, as now, help themselves to a better life.

We can promote healing, happiness, safety and goodness for all the world to see and own.  We all must do this together, Cabots, Gardnerians, Alexandrians and more.  Let’s not behave like the Congress in Washington, the Congress that can’t decide what is good for its people, the Congress obviously doesn’t care about the people.  We care about human kind and all living things on Earth!

Let’s stay together and become a force for good in the world.  I cannot acknowledge or accept the criticism of people online, they hide behind false names and cannot be identified, I name them cowards!  I question if they are Witches at all.  If they were Witches, they would not be speaking against their own.  Possibly these hate speakers are infiltrators to keep Witches fighting to make us weak.  Always question someone pretending to speak as a Witch against other Witches!  It is a way for other religions or organizations to keep us down.  Time after time we have made efforts to create respectability for the craft.  Now it is time for all to step forward, to show courage to use our power for the good of all!

Love and Light,

The Witches Path

The warm arms of the Mother and Father Gods caressing our Human spirit give strength and Majickal powers.
This is true Witchcraft and the life of a Witch.  Witches participate in every spiritual moment of life.  So welcome, Yule the Winter Solstice!
Every year of my life the changing of the seasons become more Majickal and more meaningful.  I so appreciate the Cabot Witches that are devoted to their spiritual path and continue to serve the Lord and Lady and the Holy ones without personal or political disappointments and situations that life throws our way. Those I speak of do not seek titles or special treatment for their work but trust the decisions of myself and the Elders to perpetuate the Temple and the welfare of all Cabot Witches now and in the future.

Blessings to all in this winter season,
Reverend Laurie Cabot HPs

The American Way

Those brave people that have occupied Boston, Wall Street and other institutions across the country truly understand the problem.  The American public has been scammed and fooled to think that the greedy banks and Wall Street are there to help us keep our financial balance.  Instead they have given liens knowing the people would not be able to pay, especially because those liens were given with increasing percentage and not a fixed rate.  When some were given home loans and their home loan was at, say six percent or so, along the way and a few months later, the percentage was increased to ten or maybe 12 percent, making the monthly mortgage well beyond what the people could pay.  Then they foreclosed on these homeowners throwing them into the street and refusing to work with them so they could keep their homes.  Those that were given two loans on their mortgage were out of luck.  This not only affected new home owners but people that had owned their homes for thirty or more years.
It is our constitutional right to gather and protest.  We pay the salaries of the government we live under.  They are supposed to listen to the people of America instead of support the criminal activities of banks and Wall Street.
Until you lose your home or your job you may not feel or know the gravity of what is happening.  You should be supportive of the occupants and thank them for doing that which those are not brave, or smart enough, to do.

Father Winter

In our innocence of youth Father Winter has been one of the most Majickal figures in our lives and still today I look forward to the red, green and gold packages under my Yule tree.  I know the majick did not die when some naughty child said to me, there is no such person as Father Winter, it’s just your mom and dad pretending.  Well I never believed that nasty little boy and sure as snow every year there is a present under my tree from Father Winter.  He has always been there!  He and the Green Man run the show and the Snow Queen spreads her white joy.

Blessings,

Reverend Laurie Cabot HPs

Our Gods and Goddesses

We have heard the words of Buddha, we have heard the mythical voice of Jesus for thousands of years.  Don’t you think it is about time that the stories and words of our Gods and Goddesses were heard!

The story of Rhiannon is one of deception, can her story give us a reason to listen to what she failed to do, so that we do not make the same mistake?  Did she use her majick in an incorrect way?  Did she heal herself with Majick?  You can call her name and if she answers you, she can help you to see yourself clearly, so as not to fool yourself.

Do you know the story of Lugh or Macha?  What of the Dagda?  Is he in your life and what can he bring to your life?  Cerridwen, Merlyn?  The Otherworld can be reached!

How can you become more powerful by communicating with the Gods and Goddesses?  How can you be successful in this life?  How can you achieve your dreams?

Call upon the Gods as you pursue your goals!  As you encounter obstacles, call one who can protect you, call on a Goddess that can clear the way!

We, as Witches, must use our own abilities and Majick before we cry for help however it is our Blessing that we can walk between the worlds and stand side by side with our ancestors, sharing their wisdom and Majick!

Blessings,

Reverend Laurie Cabot HPs

Too Busy For Your Gods and Goddesses?

Too busy for your Gods and Goddesses?  Too busy to tell them you hear their voices and feel their healing touch?

You only recognize them when you are in trouble and you expect their help?  You expect them to hear you and do the Majick, you should have been doing all along!  How often have you been in Sacred space with the Lord and Lady?  How often have you spoken to or for a God and Goddess?

They can hear you and will listen, but not if you ignore them or break their rules.

Your Majick....Is it Working?

I’ve heard some blogs that are sad, complaints from Witch’s and Pagans.  Is your majick working?  Are you using your majick?  How do you make your majick strong enough to guide your life to the things you need and want?
First, counting down into Alpha to make your psyche more powerful.  You must practice and actually do it for the majick to work.  Spells don’t come true by merely wishing, it takes your psychic power to send the information, and through the universal light to manifest.  However it’s simple, do the crystal countdown every day and just before you cast a spell or pray for what you need.  While you’re in Alpha see the end result, for instance you at a new job, see yourself being handed a pay check of financial gain.  See yourself bathed in red orange light to heal critical illness – or bath yourself in bright pink light to raise your self-esteem power so you can heal yourself and your situation.  Vision these colored lights every three days and it will work for you!  It won’t work and your majick will not achieve the things you need if you do not practice.
Remember you’re helping humankind when you take care of yourself.  No one has to come to your aid; your majick will do it for you.
Remember the three fold law – doing only good is a choice therefore good will return to you.  We as Witches do not have a threat and reward system, you are not going to Christian hell, however if you do good you will receive good - get divine intervention, divine help when you need it most.
So, use your alpha, meditate and project the end result for what you want and always say: “I ask this to be for the good of all.”
If you practice, it will work!
